Application read receipts: know when an employer looks

The hardest part of applying is the silence afterward: did anyone even see it? Read receipts answer that. When a hiring manager opens your application, Hire30A stamps the moment, and you see it right on the application.

Where you see it

Open any application from your dashboard. On each one, the status line tells you plainly:

  • Seen by the employer, with the date and time they first opened it, or
  • Not viewed by the employer yet, so you know it is still waiting.

Why it helps

Knowing whether your application was opened tells you what to do next. Seen but quiet for a few days? A short, polite follow-up message is fair game. Not opened at all after a week? Your energy is better spent on the next opening. It turns a guessing game into a decision.

What it does not do

Read receipts show that your application was opened, not who read it or how long they spent. And an employer opening it is not a promise of a reply, hiring takes time. It is a signal, a useful one, not a guarantee.

Turning it on

Read receipts come with Seeker Plus. Once you are on Plus the timestamps appear automatically on every application, old and new, nothing to switch on. Questions about a specific application? Submit a ticket and we will take a look.
